About Entwine

Entwine was developed by Anna, a breast cancer survivor, for people with a low sex drive, celibates, and those who avoid sex due to physical pain.

Because of her treatment, sex became uncomfortable both physically and emotionally. After her divorce, she found it difficult and intimidating to re-enter the dating scene out of fear of rejection from those who may not understand her situation.

She soon realized that many of the dating apps available had similarities; none which offered an opportunity to find someone who had similar sexual limitations.

She found herself in a space that she soon discovered many others were in --single and looking for companionship.

Entwine doesn’t fully eliminate intimacy between couples.

Entwine is a dating app for those who may not be able to, or prefer not to, fully engage in intercourse. This does not mean that they don’t want any type of intimacy or affection.

People experience intimacy in a variety of ways….not just through intercourse. Kissing, cuddling, touching, and even long conversations are all forms of intimacy.

With Entwine, both parties know there is no sexual pressure attached to your relationship. Entwine lets individuals focus on what’s really important: true connection.

Anna Leonarda, Founder

“I created Entwine so others can feel confident about entering the dating scene without fear of being judged or adhering to certain expectations…to seek new, fulfilling, and meaningful relationships.”

What do you hope people will get out of Entwine?

I know there are many individuals out there that have been living silently with their sexual limitations.  It’s not something people like to talk about.  Many of them choose to stay single because they are tired of being rejected.  I hope others will get the courage to give Entwine a chance.  What better way to find companionship with someone who will truly understand their similar sexual limitations and will not judge them?

What is your long-term goal with Entwine?

I’m very passionate about helping others…especially when it comes to those that struggle with sexual limitations. Initially, Entwine is only available in the United States, but I know this app. is needed internationally. One of the most difficult things I had to do was tell those that reached out to me from other countries that Entwine wasn’t available in their country yet. My dream is to have Entwine available internationally, and I hope for this to happen soon.
